About Cindy

I’m a native Texan who was transplanted to Franklin, TN in 2003. It was during my time serving on the pastoral staff at The People’s Church (now Church of the City), that I discovered my true passion for helping people through the hard places of life. Every time I had the privilege of meeting with an individual or couple and hearing the details of their current life crisis, it felt like time stood still and nothing else mattered in those moments. It still feels that way today.

Providing a safe and uninterrupted space for people to share the heavy matters of their heart, bringing a sense of calm into the chaos, providing resources and next steps to address and resolve the issue at hand, and holding out hope until a person can hope for themselves – this is the sacred and healing work God has equipped and called me to do. I’ve personally experienced many of the life challenges faced by my clients and I combine my personal experience and professional training and knowledge to provide a relational, thoughtful, and interactive approach to working with my clients towards their treatment goals.

I’m a wife (married 43 years), mother and grandmother and it is through these significant relationships that I am learning to love unconditionally, forgive as often as necessary, communicate clearly and never lose hope. I’m spending more time these days living within my limits, slowing down and enjoying the little moments that make up life.

I enjoy time outdoors – mostly breathing, porch sitting, and reading, while enjoying a good cup of coffee or tea. My favorite place to refuel & refresh is the beach, so I get there as often as possible. It’s my happy place!
